Tax cumulation in June

Polish entrepreneurs will be obliged to remit double PIT from the remuneration of employees for March and April till the 1st of June. Moreover, they will be overloaded by the Personal Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax for the previous year. For many companies that struggle with the economic results of COVID 19, during the last 2 months, it may be difficult to survive. This cumulation is an effect of previous postponing of the tax period which was part of the governmental “anti-crisis shield” which helped many companies to stay on the market. However, most of them will yet be balancing on the edge of survival. According to Mr. Łukasz Czuchorski from think-tank “Pracodawcy RP”, a cumulation of tax obligations in June could be troublesome for the majority of companies, which should result in a new postponing of the term.
