On the 1st May 2019, Poland changed import notification system CELINA to the AIS/Import which has been created based on EU Custom Code in 2017. From the beginning of its existence Polish authorities used AIS/Import alongside CELINA. The main purpose of new system is to adapt on IT tools used by administration. All of the regulations are made in the framework of new e-custom system. For the tax payers perspective the most important solution is a handling of standards simplified and supplementary customs declarations (ZCP).
